what makes you think that text edit has search and replace? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shaun Jones" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2008 5:17 PM Subject: Re: Find and replace
Nope it didn't. I put in the search word and pressed enter and it stayed on the screen without going back to Text Edit. Furthermore I don't just want to find a word, I want to find and replace a word. For example if the document has 34 instances of the word apple and I want to replace it with windows, how would this be done?
