Got it. I figured out the part about the bluetooth and xpsp3 and posted back. I haven't been keeping up with all the recent posts the .Mac transition started yesterday, and I took a break in reading. (For a brief period I got messages that posts were sent, but that they weren't being saved in the "Sent" messages folder.)
