Hi David, Are you running Boot Camp 1.1 or 2.1? According to MacFixIt, Boot Camp 2.1 (in versions for both XP and Vista) is required before installing XP SP3.

David, there seem to be a lot of comments about things to do before applying the SP3 update, so I'll just ask whether you are running Boot Camp 2.1.
