Dear John,

Thank you for letting me know of the open office beta version. I'm very ignorant, John, but could you explain briefly to me what open office is? I have been waiting for an accessible equivalent of Ms Office for some time as use these applications routinely.

On a different note, John, what do you use to back up your date? Waht's the best way? I run Mac os 10.54 and windows under bootcamp? Is there a way of backing the two systems on one external hard drive?

How is life for you over there, John? I live in Wales, Great Britain, and here we are still waiting for the summer. Although it is officially summer, the weather has been very much like a green house effect: cloudy, humid, clammy, horribly depressing.

With best wishes

Simon

For those who are interested, there appears to be a new beta of the Open Office application. I have not played with it much, but there seems to be greater improvements to accessibility.
