Apparently there is a way to run the update, but I didnt' have a set  
of eyes, but it seems there is a window you get at by using VO f2  
twice to bring up the window chooser menu. The problem is you get into  
this window and start navigating, VO will restart consistently every  
time. Don't know what's going on, but I just grabbed the new beta off  
the site.
