Hi everyone I am new to the list. I have only just updated to leopard (New imac) and find that voiceover is much better than it was in tiger. I'm just starting to get the swing of things but have a few questions.
1) I have an ebook in html format which I need to read fairly urgently. How do I read the text? when I try to get into the screen it says "HTML content". I picked up that in order to interact with the HTML, I need to press control+options+shift+down but it only really reads the link on the page and does not progress to the actual text. So how do I get around this and read my book? 2) How do I get voiceover to read the text in word 2004? Or should I be using another word processor? If so which one? I am a university student so I need all the bells and whistles that word can offer. 3) When in finder, how do you open a file using the keyboard? I tried vo+space but that didn't work, and pressing enter simply gave me the option to edit the name of the file. Sorry for all the questions, but I'm starting to get frustrated and really didn't know where else to find the answers. Charlie bates
