Hi. I'm not a fan of the preview pane either. If I remember correctly,
there is a splitter between the message list and the preview pane. If
you route your mouse to the splitter and double click, the preview pane
will disappear.

OK, firstly, why do I wanna do what I am fixing to ask: I know you
can't really get viruses per sey on a Mac, but, it's not due to that.
It's just a personal preference a taste. OK, so, here is my question.
You know how when you're on the messages table, if you highlight a
message and then hit vo+J it'll jump you to the msg content which I
think is right below the message table, correct me if I am wrong? Well,
you know how you also, can just hit return on the msg to bring it up in
a new window? Well, what I am wonderring, is if there's a way to
totally shut that message content area off. This way, it's not even
visible on the screen. The only way then to view a mail, is to actually
hit return on it, and open it in it's own window, then command w to
close it.
Again, if not, it's not that terribly big of a deal, but, I would really
prefer doing it this way if possible.
I checked the view menu, but didn't see anything. I dono if maybe I am
missing something.
Anyway, yeah, I also know I don't have to get ridda that thing just to
hit return and open it. Again, this is just a viewing preference of
mine. There is no real reason per sey. It's just how i prefer things to
be set up if possible.
Call me weird, but...
Chris.
