using "display:none;" in the CSS will hide it from quite a few screen readers, although your mileage may vary: http://juicystudio.com/article/screen-readers-display-none.php Also, it would hide it from everyone, so I'm not sure it will help?! I would add to the chorus though, it would be better to provide one version that is suitable for all, and it probably isn't as difficult as the developers imagine. However, without a lot more access it's difficult to be sure or helpful. Hth, -Alastair
