You asked: Have tried to switch modes, and have run in to a new problem, one which is probably config related... When I use the keyboard help, f- 6 7 and 8 are now silent. trying to access the voiceover menu is ineffective at this time. I'm using the imac so don't think there's an fn key... TK: The FN key on the aluminum keyboard for the iMac is the top left of the group of six keys where the Page Up and Page Down are located. It is the same spot as the Insert key on a PC keyboard.
