Olivia, the quickest way I've found to use spell check is to simply use up / down arrows while in the edit field just to the left of the ignore button. when spell check encounters a misspelled word, (as you know) it will show up in the edit field, where you can either correct it or click the ignore button to move to the next word. What's not obvious, is that you can also just simply use the up or down arrow keys and you'll automagically scroll through the choices that you're presented with and pressing return on any of those choices will accept it and move on to the next misspelled word in the document. At any time, you can also simply edit or erase what's in the edit field and type in your own selection as well.

Hope this helps and have an awesome evening!…

Smiles,

Cara :)

Hi Everyone,
I appologize in advance for what should be an obvious question, but I can't seem to figure out how to use the suggestions table with spell check. I interact with the table, but it's unclear how I pick a particular suggestion from the list and change the miss spelled word? So far, spell check is the only feature where I believe Windows is superior to the mac and VO, but this might just because I haven't fully mastered spell check at this point. Any suggestions for the best ways to use spell check in text edit would be very much appreciated!
Thanks, Olivia
