Hi,
Luke,

Use "fn" the key at the bottom left of the keyboard with j k l and a few others with "fn"" to emulate the desktop keyboard like you asked.

Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Greetings all,
I will be taking delivery of a new MacBook Pro 15 inch early next week, and can't wait to start using it. In the meantime, I ordered a copy of Leopard for one of my older PowerPC based macs, and started playing around with it, including mouse keys.

I am likely to use mouse keys on my MacBook in the future, especially since I will also use magnification on and off. However, it appears the mouse keys are on the numeric keypad. Since this is my first apple notebook, I am not aware of any numlock functionality which allows a numeric keypad overlaying part of the existing keyboard.

So firstly is it possible to turn a numlock like function on and off, and secondly, is there in deed a numeric overlay for use with mouse keys?

Thanks in advance.

Luke
