The iTunes gift cards should also work on the Mac. When you're on the main iTunes page use the item chooser menu to locate the "Redeem" link. When you press that (VO-space) you'll be taken to a web page where you can type in the code for your iTunes Gift Card. I haven't tried this because I don't have a card handy, but this should let you set up an account at the iTunes Store and you can purchase up to the amount that was on the gift card. (I don't use Window-Eyes, but you should be able to do something similar there, too, if the iTunes Store is now accessible.)

Esther

Well, I've got a Mac. However, yes I'll try that.

Hi Orin,

If you can get to the iTunes Store with WE seven, you can probably purchase an iTunes Gift Card and set up an account based on that prepaid amount. You'll have to get someone (like your Mom) to read in the code on the purchased card. Or maybe they can be scanned in? Anyway, that would work to set up an account with a prepaid amount and no credit card information.

It works with WE seven. The only thing I'm complaining about now is my mom not letting me get an iTunes account. Grin.

At least with mac we apparently dont need to worry as if it works which i need to see for myself, we don't need window eyes seven or certain screenreaders to get total access
