The odd thing is that I can use my patch cord with a y adaptor and headphones to tape what's going on in the computer, i.e. music. So I know the audio input jack works. It's just not recognising this microphone. My boyfriend's an electronics engineer (different from electric) but he doesn't know anything about computers in this regard. Still, I wonder if he can replace the wire that leads into the microphone with a patch cord wire or if they use different signals etc? I'll have to have him check the polarity and see if that's the problem. I'm just really annoyed cause they said this thing was plug and play and that it works with Mac. It feels nice on my ears and has a great sound and yet I can't use the microphone portion of it.
