Hello,
True. But how long did it take DOS screen readers back then and Windows screen readers to get to where they are now? I'd rather a few years than never. Or I'd rather a few years and the cost incorperated in the device instead of paying $300 to $1000 for the access.

I agree with this one but Don't hold your breath. For example,How long did it take to make the hottest music download page to become accessible? It
will take almost this long if not longer with the lack of keyboard.

yeah, I was thinking one way to make the touch screen workable would
be to just ship a small bluetooth keyboard with it. that's all we
need, a keyboard, then we could totally use VO.

true, but they would have to make the touch screen interface

Well, there are a few tactile buttons for volume, home, ring/
silent and sleep/wake. Everything else is through the touch screen. Maybe they will eventually just put VO on the iPhone. It supposedly
is OSX under the hood.

Yes, they replied to me, too. Interesting the the iPhone link on
the new Accessibility page mentions tactile buttons.

Hello All,
I just wanted you to know that I wrote an appreciation EMail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and they responded. I really appreciate
that as well as the fixes.
They also mentioned a new Accessibility page,
http://www.apple.com/accessibility/
So I'm going to the Accessibility page to see what's new.
