Ah, thanks, how did you figure that out?… I wouldn't have associated that in my head, with the sound.

Well if the problem is only with that sound in itunes, it is simple to fix.

From the songs view, move your cursor down and over about two to the right. Press the button that says "disable itunes sidebar".

No more sound.

C Q,

In voice over prefs under audio, there is a checkbox for muting sounds. I'm afraid though that it is all or nothing but it will address your isue.

Well, not really leaving as such, but sleeping soon! <smile>

I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to disable the accursed
'Safari page loaded' sound in ITunes?… I use VO with no accompanying
sounds at all, as I find them annoying / distracting, and the ITunes
sound (new in Ver 8) is really getting on my nerves! <smile>

I mean I like the sound itself; it's tres cool, but not when it
keeps playing and playing and playing and playing and playing every
time I switch sources or load a new ITunes store page. It's a bit much.

I've looked through the ITunes prefs, and through the VO utility to
see if any new settings for such have been added, but no dice.

*looks extra cute* Please please please tell me somebody out there
has figured this out?…

Have a terrific evening and hope you're all having a completely
amazing weekend!…

Rock!…

Cara :)
