Ok, so I got my new external hard drive and am wondering. What's the difference between using Time Machine to back up my files and just copying and pasting? I want to back up things on a few different computers: my Mac, my parents' XP desktop, my XP desktop and possibly my XP laptop, if I can ever get it to work long enough to do that.
