well, there is a firewall built into leopard, but it shouldn't
affect your
mail. There is a message size limit though that you might want to
check.

OK, that's really kind of odd. I just had someone send me an
attachment to
my Gmail.
Well, on my Mac, when I polled for mail, it never came down. I
waited and
waited.
Well, when I polled with my xp machine, it came down right away.
I've
noticed the mac doing this will both my gmail address as well as my
road
runner address.
So, I'm a little perplexed. I could see this if the file was over
my quota,
but it's not. I mean, it's done this with txt files? word files,
I've seen
it with a few midi files? I've been sent a few dmg files it diddit
with? I
mean, this is extremely weird. No, there's no firewall, or virus
scanner on
this Leopard box that I know a, unless there is one built right
into Leopard
that I'm not aware of.
Chris.
