I know that... heh? I meant specifically, like is it in System prefs, and
once in security, does it show up as one of the tabs?

And where might that be David, o, let me guess what you're gonna say:
where, the sun don't shine?
Chris.

well, there is a firewall built into leopard, but it shouldn't affect
your
mail. There is a message size limit though that you might want to check.

OK, that's really kind of odd. I just had someone send me an attachment
to
my Gmail.
Well, on my Mac, when I polled for mail, it never came down. I waited
and
waited.
Well, when I polled with my xp machine, it came down right away. I've
noticed the mac doing this will both my gmail address as well as my road
runner address.
So, I'm a little perplexed. I could see this if the file was over my
quota,
but it's not. I mean, it's done this with txt files? word files, I've
seen
it with a few midi files? I've been sent a few dmg files it diddit with?
I
mean, this is extremely weird. No, there's no firewall, or virus scanner
on
this Leopard box that I know a, unless there is one built right into
Leopard
that I'm not aware of.
Chris.
