Do we know anything though as far as why I can't see the volume up down, play stop and mute in the xm online player? If nothing else, can someone help me find the xm radio widgit?

Chris.

I had the same experience with kiisfm.com. Installing flip for mac fixed he problem and it works fine.
Same situation with KABC, and a few other stations.

Hi,

Try going to Microsoft's website, I know, how aweful of me, but go there and download a a free copy of Flip4Mac. Actually, if you actually want better accessibility, just Google it. Then install it and try this again. I had this with a local radio station in my area and I think it did tell me I needed a plugin, though I am not sure.

Hope this helps,
Thanks for listening,
Alex,

OK guys, two web sites here that I am slightly having a little issue with on an accessibility side. One of which is pretty well not working, period, the other a which is all? frickin? most! there. It's like, Aaa! So! close, but, so! far.

The first a these, is

http://listen.xmradio.com

OK OK OK, yeah? I know there is a dashboard widget that will do xm Radio. I googled and can't seem to find the thing. So, if anyone can help me find it, and give me a download link to it, or even better yet, just attach it and privately send it to me, that would really be awesome.

Basicly though: the only issue really with the online web based player that I really am seeing, if anything, is, in the player frame, if I interact with it, I do see!the quick tune area, and the go button, however, under Windows, I am able in Internet Explorer, to also see that in that frame, there is a volume up, volume down, stop, play, and mute. I don't see these with voiceover at all in the player frame. They're not even showing as non clickable items. They're just simply put: not there. They're totally being skipped over. I tried vo up, down, left, and right. O yeah, I made sure first, I was interacting with the frame, don't worry about that. I'm perfectly aware a having to interact with each frame. Really though, from what I can see, that seems to honestly be the only real issue that I have. Aside that, the site seems to work quite flawlessly. The little buttons in the preset frame, like what's on, my presets, etc? You do! have to actually do vo +command+F5, and route your mouse pointer, then vo+Shift+Space on 'em, and actually clickem, and I'll tell yall now, they won't show up as links. They're actually not links. In windows, at least, they're called on mouse overs. Dono how the Mac really handles those. Anyway though, if you actually physically clickem, they seem to be working.

Now, the second site, I'm actually seeing a little more of an issue.

http://www.RadioTime.com

Basicly, if you sign up for an account, which btw, is free, and there is no captcha the last I looked.

Then, once logged in, try doing this just to regenerate my problem:

Once logged in, do a vo+F. Yes, Vo F actually works fine in this case.

Do a search for the word "Location"

Now, you probably're gonna land onna heading. So, vo right once, and you'll land on the link that says by location. OK, vo space on that link.

Now, on this next page, do a vo+F, then put in the word "north"

That'll land you on a link that says North America. Vo space on it.

Now, on the next page, do a vo+F, and search for "United"

That will land you on a link called United States of America. Vo space on that link.

Now, do vo+F, and put in "Carolina"

That'll land you on North Carolina. Vo space on it.

Now do vo+F, and put in "Charlotte"

This should land you, most likely on a link that says something to the effect of Charlotte, Gastonia, Rockhill. Hit Vo+Space on it.

OK, now, finally, last step!

Bring up your item chooser list, with vo+I. then type in WLYT.

Now vo down arrow until you find the link for WLYT 102.9.

Once there, Vo space on it to move to that link. Now, don't vo space on it. That's not what you wanna do. I just had you move to it, so you'll be in the area I need you. OK, now, Vo left arrow, until you get to a link that says listen. It'll be the first link you'll hit that says this, right before that WLYT 102.9 link. OK, Vo space on that listen link.

Now, This is the problem. It comes up in a new browser window, just fine, however, there is absolutely no audio. If you look at the top left item of this new window that popped up, you'll see something that says Mac Warning image. But then, voing around on this sfcreen doesn't really reveal anything that says I need to downlaod a plug in, or that it's not compatible, or the like. So, I'm really kind a stumped. It works absolutely beyond flawlessly in Windows, but on the Mac, it's beeing a pain. I didn't know if maybe yall may could figure outta way in Safari to get it to work. I don't have an intel based mac, so Virtual Box, Fusion, and Boot Camp, are totally outta the question.

Chris.
