Hi Mike,
What exactly are you having trouble with? Unison's disgusting. I can
cue up 20 or 30 gigs worth of news group binaries in half an hour and
let the cue run for a day and it will suck it all down. Not only are
the files compiled, but they are automaticly sorted by thread and
collapsed together like conversations in mail.
To grab a set of files, such as a 300 file audiobook ripped from cd,
you just press command D on the thread and it will download to it's
own nice little folder.
To find something like the info file for a post, right arrow to expand
the thread, down arrow to the nfo, and press command D.
It was mindboggling the first time I used it. I've never had such a
good time with news groups.
