David's right, though, that you can use the Player Status window in iTunes to monitor the status of the sync as it is in progress -- you can hear when the spoken titles are generated and what songs are being downloaded in between the iPod sync messages. There's no need to sit around twiddling your thumbs and wonder what's going on up to the point where you hear the iPod speak -- and then you hear the "iPod" announced as soon as the sync is completed.

Seriously though, I agree, I absolutely love the progress / level of access that has just happened here over night as it were. yes, there are a couple of things I'd like to see, but I'm super impressed!
