I absolutely love the way Peter says "IPod" when it's finished. Once you have done a first sync, the IPod speaks some status messages when you sync again.
ONe more thing and then I'll shut up for the night or day depending on your point of view. This is one of the few digital audio devices I have found that provides a good volume gradient. Most have settings that are either too high or to low with not that one or two settings between that are just right. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Esther" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 23, 2008 12:07 AM Subject: Re: ipod sync progress is quite accessible: David's right, though, that you can use the Player Status window in iTunes to monitor the status of the sync as it is in progress -- you can hear when the spoken titles are generated and what songs are being downloaded in between the iPod sync messages. There's no need to sit around twiddling your thumbs and wonder what's going on up to the point where you hear the iPod speak -- and then you hear the "iPod" announced as soon as the sync is completed.
