Hi,
Even though you have more than 14Gb of music in your library, you need not manage your music manually.

I'd suggest you create new playlists that contain the music you want synched. I have several smart playlists that manage my favorites so that music I care less about is not synched. For me, audio books artificially inflate my library so I have a play list of Current books that contains rules that takes audio books added in the last three months as well as books that have a zero play count. I then elect to have this playlist synched. This strategy can be used to create other rule based playlists that meet your criteria.

So, I urge you to play around with the Smart playlist feature of iTunes and the feature in iPod settings where you synch only selected playlists.

This should allow youto have easy auto synching and keep your total music library size to a point where auto synching will work.

Best,
Scott

Hi guys, well i got my new nano 16gb. I set it for manual syncing since i have about 25gb of content in itunes. I was wondering can i browse my library by albums and add an entire album to my playlist? Also, how do i sync a playlist to my ipod? If i control click on the playlist i get a menu but there are no sync to ... options in it.
Regards, Jeff Greene
