Hi Jacob, how are you doing?

I looked in my finder preferences, and what I have checked is spring loaded windows and folders. Open folder in new windows is unchecked.

I just tried it right now, and when I went to home, and clicked on library, that came up in a new window.

Unsure why it is doing that.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Hi
First, check finder preferences and make sure that "always open folders in a new window" is unchecked. You can open finder preferences by presing command-, or choosing preferences from the finder menu. Also, if you are in list view then pressing command-o will open folders in new windows.

Hi all, how goes it?

I am not up to much here, just finished eating dinner.

Anyhow, recently I noticed my folders were openning in new windows when I hit command+o. Before, they were openning in a single window when I hit command+o. Command+up and or command+down does the same thing.

Does anyone know how to change the folder behaviors, or perhaps to change the shortcut keys?

Thanks.
