Let's face facts. People run Windows and won't change necessarily just to
buy an I-Pod. If Apple wants more people to buy their I-pods, then they need
to make I-tunes more friendly on all platforms. Windows is still the
dominant operating system so it really is in Apple's best interest to get
that going right. Yes, Apple would probably love to have people buy the
macs, but the I-pod is what is selling like crazy and I-tunes is the only
way to access it from a windows platform, I think, anyway.

The question really has to be asked however: why would they spend money/time

on making Jaws work well with iTunes on windows; they want people to buy
their hardware.

Hopefully, it will get better because there are a lot of us out there who
would love good access to iTunes who just can't afford a mac. They'll sell
more music if they'd make the jaws interface better, that's fer sure!!

I guess this question/point brings it back on topic. Could it be
that you have managed the transition from Windows to the Mac so well
that you prefer the Mac's way of navigation, and therefore prefer it
on those grounds? That was only a question, not an assumption! I
still haven't got myself a Mac! I have an old copy of Jaws and
haven't upgraded yet, I think I'd rather spend a bit more and get a Mac.
