Search engine optimization (SEO) is a bit of a black art so I don't know
if his information is good, old, current or useful. Generally the search
engines are now good enough that you can't game them without hurting
your ranking. It's a nice symbiotic relationship between SEO, semantic
HTML and accessibility. Doing things right gets you a long way in all
three categories. So if you only use one H1 tag on the page for the
overall major heading, that gets you better SEO and it works better with
screen readers. More Flash tag soup and Ajaxed content means lower SEO
and greater difficulty with accessibility.

Hello; I was wondering about that. I saw the link at the end that
said it was running on websyphon, and I wondered if anyone had used
this program and if it is accessible for the blind. The owner of the
site said I was the first person to go there who had stated he was
blind. So, how did you like the site? Did I do good recomending it?
It seamed very well done to me. Thanks, Max

Hello list; Just thought I'd write in about a website I just
found. Some of you may know of it already of course. It is a site
for submitting your website to search engines and web indexes. It
was built by a mac user, and I had no difficulty in navigating his
site, creating an account, and submitting my site for promotion.
While most of the web indexes don't have automated submission
systems, his site does have a lot of handy links as well as a lot of
good advice. And his tutorials are worth reading for their comic
value. He is a good story teller in my opinion explaining without
making new people feel dumb. Here is the url
http://www.selfpromotion.com I hope this helps some of you. Thanks
for listening, Max
