Hi all,

OK, since we're being techies here, direct link to Shane's podcast on the iPod Nano 4G is:

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?i=38905358&id=291664937

From Safari this will redirect to iTunes and set your source to the iTunes Store. In the Songs Table, the selection will be pointing to the podcast episode on the 4G Nano.

And yes, Mike, all the links I posted for Shane's site worked for me and were tested before my post.

Cheers,

Esther

P.S. To get the direct URL to a particular podcast episode, navigate to that episode in the Songs Table for that podcast page at the iTunes Store and use the contextual menu (VO-Shift-M). Choose the "Copy iTunes Store URL" option and the URL will be copied to your clipboard. Pasting with Command-V (e.g., into a post like this) will provide the link

Hi, Esther and all. Also, I am proud to now announce that you can now subscribe to my BlindWorld Blog and Podcast via Itunes. Just go into the Itunes search field and type in BlindWorld Blog or Shane Jackson. Presto, you will find the podcast there. I hope people find it very helpful indeed.

Hi Mike,

I just did a Google search on "shane jackson podcast" and Shane's Blindworld Blog and podcast popped right up. Shane's blog gives links to both his podcast and his review at lioncourt.com, but if your friend doesn't want anything but the direct link to the podcast, here it is copied from Shane's blog:

http://www.shanejackson.net/Talking_iPod_Nano.mp3

and the Google search results that show up immediately point to:

http://blindworldblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/talking-ipod-nano- demo.html

All of these links work, and are current. The only thing I can think of is that Shane changed hosts for his blog and podcasts several months ago, so his original podcast (about the iPod shuffle and iTunes from nearly a year ago), were released on a different web page.

Cheers,

Esther
