Subject: accessible way of tuning instruments
Hey folks,
I'm finding myself playing out live a lot more lately, and I'm in
desperate need of an accessible way to tune up without taking up
another bandmate's time when we're rushing to get set up. I'm playing
at rock/metal nights mostly, so as you can imagine, the atmosphere and
music blasting through the PA doesn't lend itself well to tuning by
ear most of the time. I have the mac on stage with me anyway for a
few backing tracks that the band play too, so wondered whether anybody
had ever encountered an accessible tuner app of any sort? If you
haven't but you know of any other ways this might be acomplished, feel
free to drop me a note off list so as not to drift off topic.
Any advice appreciated, i'm really stumped on this one.
