I've had first hand experience with this as Rockbox wasn't playing ball
going onto my partners Ipod Video 60gb.
It was sent back after two days of use. The voice is awful, it's sketchy on
whither it reads out the artists etc, it doesnt' give you access to menus on
the player. We really found it a very stereotypical, clunky, unattractive
"blind" product.
Cobolt in the UK did mention to my girlfriend that they were getting allot
back from customers.
I would not recommend this other than to let you see how truly awful this
device is and how they could have done so much more considering the Rockbox
product. These guys with the I Tel had another piece of hardware at play
with the Ipod and this is what they came up with?
If you're player has a port for it Rockbox all the way.
I do submit though that the install might not be the most straight forward,
but with it's automated software now it's very close. Bit of tweaking
needed on the GUI for accessibility and of course you can't have it
formatted on the Mac file system, (gotta be FAT32), but hey ho.

I would think though that unless you had an ipod classic that was totally
loaded up with music, then you'd probably just go ahead and get a nano,
especially since they're the same price.
I think if they have any hope at all of selling this thing, they need to
get that price down. You can get it for $107 by ordering directly from
cobolt, but that's still way too much in my opinion.
