Hi
Command up and down work just fine for me here, as do the seeking hotkeys command-option left and right. One thing I do notice though is that if you've highlighted a non-audio source in your sources list (i.e. you've got music playing but are searching the iTunes store) these hotkeys will not work in that situation. Perhaps something like this is happening to you? As far as I can remember though all versions of iTunes have acted this way. I can't say if the hotkeys have changed any on the Windows side, haven't played with it very much honestly.

What I meant by the hotkeys was the use of command up and down arrow, which would change the volume of iTunes itself. That hot key no longer works in
iTunes 8. Maybe it changed?

Hi,

The volume hotkeys have changed dramatacally. What were they. They now are
the "f11", and "f12" respectively, with "f10" being mute. On the new
notebooks that is. Actually it is "FN" plus the hotkeys outlined above. The old notebooks were "fn" with "f3" being mute and "f4" being Softer and "f5"
being louder. Tiger had no fn before these commands.

Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Hey folks. I'm currently using iTunes on both the Mac and Pc sides,

this? Thanks so much.
