The index embossers will work with iBraille from Index or Greg's
Louis application. The trick is connecting the unit. If you have a
USB connection, it's pretty straight forward. However, the serial
versions, I have found, are a little difficult.

Hi Listers,
Is anybody here using index everest embosser in their iMac?
If yes, can you please tell me how accessible it is with Voice Over?
Do you use braille software to convert text to braille?
If yes, please tell me what software it is.
Reason I ask because I am planning to purchase this type of embosser,
but have no idea if it will be accessible to use with my iMac.
Thank you for any help, it is very much appreciated.
