Hi Kamal, Let me start by saying that bootcamp is free and once set up, devotes all of the hardware resources at its disposal to the os running at the time.
If you run any solution envolving another os, you will not have the resources of the mac os at your disposal so the answer to your question is yes in any case that windows is run, windows software will need to be used. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kamal Haffar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2008 2:42 PM Subject: Re: Installing Windows XP on the MacBook Hi David: Thankss for the info. Yes, when I asked my question, I didn't know you could run the operating systems side by side. If you run them at the same time, could you access the windows environment easily and does that mean that you need to have a windows screen reader installed in the Windows environment? I am so new to the MAC environment so I am probably asking what seems to be obvious questions. In fact, I am still waiting to receive my MacBook which should hopefully arrive in the next couple of days. It has been very helpful to join this list as I have already learnt a lot just by reading your emails.
