This is the same keyboard layout that was introduced introduced for
the MacBook Pro (Early 2008) models, and that is used for the
MacBook Air.
There was a firmware update for the earlier MacBook keyboards that
was meant to fix a few problems, such as the first key press being
ignored if the computer had been sitting idle for a long time.
