Try vo-a. You may find that in the case of some pdf's you may have to interact with them then apply the read-all.On 2-Jun-06, at 6:27 PM, Niklas Petersson wrote:

Sorry if this isn't quite on topic, but what is the VO command for continues reading, I.E when you wish VO to keep reading a document or a web page?

Hi, Marty,

Treat the modifier keys of control, apple, and option just as you'd
treat a shift key on the typewriter. You may hold down the modifiers
indefinitely, but as soon as you hit the printable character, you
need only press it for an instant. If you keep it down, it will
auto-repeat. So, just like you don't want 20 capital U's, you don't
want 20 open link chooser menus. Press it for an instant. It may
take a second to process the request and it may not work if the page
is still loading, but one quick press of the 'U' key will do.

Best,
Scott

Hi all, maybe this is because I'm new to the mac, but when I'm on a
site, such as youtube, when I want the link chooser list, and press vo and u, I have no idea how long to hold down the key combination until I
get a response, and twice, now, on youtube, voice over has gotten
caught in a loop, where it will say, link chooser, such and such items, but midway through, it interrupts itself, and keeps saying link chooser
menu, such and such, link chooser menu, such and such, over and over
again, and there doesn't seem to be any way to shut this off, but
eventually, after a minute or so, it will shut up, so first, when
pressing a command, what is the propper way to execute the command so that voice over won't lock up? Somebody said I should have the check box checked that says announce when a modifyer key is pressed, but in light of the voice over lock ups with youtube, I am seriously thinking of unchecking this item, but second of all, has anybody else had voice over go in to a speech loop like the one I tried to describe, where I used such and such, to describe, the number of items on the page, that obviously can varry from page to page in the link chooser menu. This
has occurred both times, when the mac has been on for four hours or
more, and I had thought, there was something wrong with my mac mini,
but just wondered if anybody else had experienced speech loops with
voice over? Thanks in advance.
Marty
