Hi Erik,

I gave you the link to the podcast demo for the i-Tel in my reply to your post on restoring your Classic earlier this week. There was also some earlier discussion on the list that you can bring up if you search the archives. I'll paste in part of the relevant text from my earlier post:
There's a podcast on the Cobolt Systems i-Tel that you can get at:
feed://feeds.feedburner.com/tandt
Brian Hartgen also made a podcast on the iPod Nano 4G, so you can compare the two. Use this as a guide for what parts of the iPod menu are supported and what the voices and interfaces sound like for i-Tel vs. Nano 4G, rather than for detailed instructions, since these podcasts are aimed primarily at people who use the J-Tunes scripts and JAWS. There is some discussion of performance under WE. Also, maybe Tim and others who have direct experience with the i-Tel can tell you more about it.

HTH

Cheers,

Esther

Hey Eric,

The iTell isn't manufactured or sold by Apple. the company you're
looking for is Cobolt Systems I think. I'd strongly suggest you
listen to a demo of the product though if you haven't already done so
before you part up with any cash - there's one on the blog at
www.tandt-consultancy.com
