Apple doesn't handle any trade-ins, although some third-party dealers
that sell both new and used Apple products will do trade-ins. I'd
guess that it wouldn't be worth the effort it would take to verify
that all these iPods were "perfectly working" or track down any
problems and repair them so they could re-sell them -- especially
since the would have to ship these all back to their technical center
to make the evaluations and do any repairs. The only thing I'm aware
of is Apple's U.S. recycling program, where you can bring in an old
iPod and get a 10 percent discount on a new iPod purchase made that
same day at an Apple Store. I've never tried this since none of my
iPods have stopped working. Here's the link to the announcement for
