Hi Dan and all:

Yes, that was the problem, turned cursor tracking on and I am now able to access the dock using VO + D.

Thanks for all the help, hopefully I could start answering questions on this list after I get the hang of Mac and VoiceOver. Just need to find more time to read the docs, :-).

Cheers

Hi Kamal, sounds as if you have curser tracking turned off, I just did that here, and could duplicate what you're experiencing by doing that, so try hitting VO shift f3 to turn curser tracking on, and then try it.

  Hi all:

I am reading the getting started manual for VoiceOver from the Apple website. It mentions to use the VO + D to bring the focus to the dock and then use the VO + Right Arrow or Down arrow to access the items on the Dock. I made sure that the DOCK is not hidden, when I press the VO + D, It speaks the word dock, however, when I use the VO + the arrow keys I just hear a ding. Any suggestions or ideas?

Thank you

Kamal
