Hi Chris,
The way you could find 3-star rated music tracks is by sorting on the
Rate column. Then your music (or the entries in a playlist) will
appear in sort order according to their rating. You can sort any
playlist by any column you choose to view. However, iTunes will
remember that setting when you return to your playlist.
Cheers,
Esther

I don't believe, now, I could be wrong, but I don't think that this
ever has been asked. I'm curious though: I know I can search by
album, artist, or genre, that is, if I have the browser enabled,
but, let's say, that I wanna search my whole library for songs
that're just specifically a 3 star rating. Yeah, I know I can make a
smart playlist, and tell it to include only 3 star rated tracks, but
that isn't exactly what I'm getting at. What I'm actually! wanting
to do, is to physically search the entire library, not have it make
a playlist for me, but let me be totally in control, and
specifically only! show in the songs list, things that're a certain
rating. If this can't be done at this time, boy would that be a cool
feature to see them add.
Chris.
