With your document going, press command-shift-semi-colon, press vo keys-f2 twice holding down the vo keys and tapping the f2 twice quickly. arrow to spelling and grammar and press enter. you should then be able to tab through dealing with errors as they come up by ignore, change etc. each time you press a button, a new error will appear till you hear a bongand you can press escape to dismiss the window.
