No luck so far. I can select the /dev/cu.pl2303 serial device in the
processing tab, but when I send output nothing happens. I also made
sure the Romeo Pro 50 was set to receive on the serial port. By the
way, whoever came up with the menu system for that embosser needs to
go back to user interface school. Unless someone can explain to me the
insane nature of such a menu system.

printer (not 25 pin parallels but hte kind you have on a printer)
and try that. Or the one I prefere, a Keyspan usb to sereial adapter.
