New to the Mac! Have a question?

Hello everyone,
	I am totally new to the Mac.  I bought a mac book pro.  I really like  
the the apple package.  In a word it is classy.  They really do know  
ho to make a machine that people want to use.  I am a Jaws user and I  
am use to doing a say all with the insert down arrow.  Is there an  
equivalient on the mac?  I do a vo+a and it only reads a word or two.
