Having Itunes problems

Hi folks, I have read, but may be missing something with regards to  
selecting and opening radio stations in itunes.

I do the following:
Go to the sources table select radio stations, tab over to the songs  
to select a jenre of music and attempt to open it with vo-\. I get the  
piano note sound and nothing opens.

Okay, What am I missing here?
