Thank You,
This is great. I will just download v2 and have it ready. What is the possiblity of installing v2 and running it as a demo or trial period untill I receive my actual v1 package? Then when I get the serialnumber and nessary code, regester it at that time? Do you think that this would work? Thank you

Scott, if you've install the V1 product, and have your serial number, which should be already entered for you by default, you can download V2 yourself from:

Make sure V1 is not running and that all of your virtual machines are also shut down completely and install V2. Your original serial number should show up automagically in the appropriate box and the software will be installed. Obviously, you'll have confirmation screens and such to go through, but it's really very easy.

As far as I know, all of your virtual machines should remain intact, however, you'll want to read the getting started pdf as I believe it details how to import your V1 virtual machines into V2. I don't believe this is an automatic process, but do definitely check the literature.

HOpe this helps and have a great day!…

Smiles,

Cara :)

Hello everyone,
I purchased the fusion v1 with the free upgrade to v2 from the macmall. Has anyone else purchased this? I was wondering firstly how does one receive the v2 upgrade. Second can v1 be upgraded to v2 if it is installed and running? Thank you.
Scott
