Hey Simon, I don't know if you would find yourself in full-screen mode
without intending to do so, but I imagine it is possible. It was just
a thought considering his situation. I suspect he may have
accidentally entered full-screen mode or possibly unity mode. Control
+enter will enter and exit full-screen mode and control+u will enter
and exit unity mode. Btw, unity mode is I guess for a lack of a better
description, integrates the running windows apps into the existing tab
order of running Mac apps and you can even then add the running
windows apps to the Dock and launch them outside unity mode and even
while Fusion is not running. The item if in the dock would launch
fusion and then the application. Many cool things can be done.

Dear Scott,
It was Will who was asking. however, I too am finding this
information very helpful as I'm about to start experimenting with
Fusion and Windows XP under Fusion so this is all very very helpful.
Scott, do you mean to say that one could find oneself in full-screen
mode without choosing to do so and if this is the case, one would
not be able to access the bar in Fusion and therefore one would need
to use the control+enter shortcut to get out of full-screen mode?
Sorry if it all sounds very like a novice which is what I am.
Best wishes

Folks, sorry, someone had asked about how they could access the
menu bar while they were in the VM. I think the issue was that they
could not access the menu bar, this is the menu bar that contains
items such as full screen, etc. You have two options. First you
probably could not navigate to that menu bar because you likely
were in full-screen mode. To enter or exit this mode, you can
either access this choice via the VO+m to access the menu or use
the shortcut key control+return. If you are in full-screen mode,
you will not be able to access the menu bar, but you can access
those features under the view menu.
Hope that helps.
