hey all. Mike Arrigo is it? Yes your podcasts did help. So did Scott
Howell's. The other Mike who asked if I knew I could run other os's on
the mac. Actually yes I was aware you could. But I wasn't aware it was
totally accessible. So thanks for the heads up. I may try it out at
some point. And I will definitely tell my friend that. That may make
them want to switch more easily. I think their concern is they use
certain things under windows and certain things under linux. And they
are stubborn sighs. They like the programs they use and will not try
others. So that may be a decent solution for them.
Wow what a welcome. Thanks all. Glad to be here. As I said I will try
to give as much help as I am given.
if my signature shows up it is outdated. I should go delete it. I am
trying to find a good way of having my own website/blog. But so far I
just have not found a good free service. Yahoo is giving me issues.
They say they will fix the problem but they don't know when it will be
fixed. Possible translation: they aren't going to fix the problem. I
wish yahoo would get rid of their stupid word verification on
everything. They said they turned it off on my account but it is still
on.
So now I am back to using gmail. I think I read I can set up gmail
with apple mail so I hope that works ok and reliably. When I did it
with outlook express I lost messages in the download transfer it
seemed. It seemed they would just like disappear if that is even
possible. And so I just kept using web gmail which is frustrating too
because if seems I always have to choose basic html when I go to the
website. I tried bookmarking it. But that doesn't work either I always
have to click on basic html. Annoying. But anyway. Later all. Thanks
for the welcome. And thanks for all of the info.
