Good evening Jacob,

Which virtual machine did you find that Ubuntu performed the best under?

Also, what was your problem with getting OpenSolaris to run?

Thanks,
Everett

Hi
I've gotten Ubuntu Intrepid, and every other Linux for that matter, working under both VMWare and Virtualbox. I've still been unable to get Opensolaris running under either of them, however. Ubuntu 8.04 is easier to install with speech at the beginning, but I wouldn't advise going with 8.04. It's stable, but outdated, and in the Linux AT world at the moment it's important to have everything as up to date as you can, and to keep it that way.

Good evening,

Under which virtualization platforms has anyone been able to get either Ubuntu Intrepid or OpenSolaris running smoothly with audio support?

Thanks,

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
