Ok regarding the home group configuration screen do you need sighted assistance for this or can you navigate it yourself?

Where can the public beta be obtained from please?

I can't wait to try it on my macbook.

That's correct, in fact VMWare should choose this for you when you point it to the iso image. Windows Vista is chosen automatically, as this is what VMWare detects the disk to be. VMWare's easy install does work for 7 however there is one screen near the end of the installation that you still have to get through. This is the home group configuration and, since this was not present in Vista, VMWare doesn't automate this.

HI all.

Has anyone tried running windows 7 public beta under vm ware fusion?
If so, what do you tell vm ware fusion to use for the operating system when your setting up a virtual machine?

Has anyone had any problems with windows 7 beta running on a mac?

Thanks.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
