Hi all,

Eric,

how would you like to have a mail program that didn't organize your email? just had no inbox, no database of any sort, just randomly plunked mail all over the hd or asked you where you wanted to put each message as it came in and so on. Well, for many of us, ITunes is the same thing as a mail organizer/tracker etc. Before ITunes, there wre ways of doing this and those ways still exist and have expanded obviously, but ITunes both on windows and the Mac have become the media organizer of choice.

I don't want to beat this dead horse to death, but It seems that the power and utility as well as versatility of ITunes is not being fully grasped, understood/utillized here. How would ou like to have an antivirus package on your windows computer that didn't do anything but hicough when you got a virus and you had to hunt down and distroy the beast yourself.

And, yes, there are document organizers as well so you don't have to use them but many folk like them and infact they save a lot of time.

I've used ITunes to move massive amounts of information around, make changes on a global scale not pissible in any other way in order to fit the style I need at the time. There are some things I'd like to see in ITunes like the ability to manipulate multiple libraries for instance, but I've not found anything nearly as productive in the media world as ITunes and I've been looking at and using stuff for years.
