Good evening Michael,

I purchased the drive at Futureshop in Canada, basically BestBuy, but they can be purcahsed anywhere. I am actually going to take mine back. The HD is good, but the enclosure isn't great and rattles.

What I would like to purchase is a USB / Ethernet drive that has two 500gb drives in raid configuration so that my data is backed up onto each. They just didn't have any in stock and I wanted to test out TimeMachine.

HTH,
Everett

Everett, if you need specifics here, please do shout out, K?… YOu should be able to resize these with VO by selecting one partition and first making it smaller by typing the new size in the size edit field and clicking apply. Then, obviously, you can make the other one larger with the same steps.

If YOu can, do let me know where exactly, you're finding the trouble?…

Thanks so much and best of luck!…

Smiles,

Cara :)

Good evening,

I tried using Disk Utility today to create 2 partitions on a new 1tb external drive.

I was able to create 2 partitions, but could not figure out how to resize the partitions so that one could be larger than the other. I ended up with 2 partitions of the same size.

Is it possible to resize partitions with Voiceover, if so, could someone please explain ow to do this?

Thanks,
Everett
