How do you mean pricisely by not working? From initial start up, or
finding the particular game, or within a game?
As far as I know there's just one mudwalker. However, that's why I
started playing mudlegend via terminal because mudwalker and it
wouldn't connect after a while, which is to bad because it worked
well for a time.
As for mudwalker as long as you can keep Vo interacted into the
scroll area, you shouldusually be able to type a command, hit the
tab, then VO/Shift?ED key, then Vo Up Or Left arrow once or twice and
get out of your current score line to hear what's going on. A lot of
keystrokes, but once combat has started you can type commands. The
worse thing that will happen is that you get killed, but most of the
time with medevia for example, my last command gets a responce, of
"Yes but who do want to ----."
That's why I was currious to know what games you were playing then I
would see if mudwalker even connects to them, unfortunately some
systems it will not connect to, and that seems to include mudlegend
now. Miraniwas hopeless, and I also tried Atlantis with that which
is one of the ones they reccomended for Mac, but it never would
connect properly, which is unfortunate, because that was the original
one which got me interested in playing games on computer, but still
haven't gotten around to that game. Perhaps I will crank up the
ancient windows machine one day and se about playing that game.
Mudwalker does also have a users list, sometimes there's e-mail over
there, but perhaps we should as a group get involved with one of
these cliants and see if the cliant's developer or developerswould
work with us to solve some of these issues beteeen cliant and Vo, the
question is which one?

to work.

Or muds that aren't so energetic such as medievia. Although I
could sit and chat on there I suppose.
tintin works if you use the vo review keys to review the screen
every so often.
